There’s always another book or video coming out about a plethora of topics.
I guess watching and reading it all would take about a billion years (okay, maybe only a million).
What to Look At?
Luckily for t1ders, t1d is a niche subject (with much less info than t2d).
I read a lot (my preferred method) but there are also some good videos made about t1d.
I’ve read plenty of blog posts, but usually find books to be better written than blogs (my blog excepted).
In fact, t1d is such a tricky area to understand that most info out there about t1d is by people who have t1d themselves.
It isn’t like exercise/diet books written by people with great genetics, or productivity books written by people who are experts at selling books on productivity.
So, I feel some camaraderie with the authors – we both know what it’s like to have a hypo.
I try and start with books that have great reviews by other t1ders.
I’d recommend doing an internet search for popular t1d books, or ask other t1ders, and go from there. Most books I’ve bought have ratings close to 5 stars.
