We will need animal help to do it though. That’s what Avatar taught me.
I’ll leave the technical mumbo-jumbo (you know, crops and oxygen and rockets n’ stuff) to the experts. I’ll take the easy stuff like riding octopii pets to explore the dark side of the moon thanks.
Creature Attack
In my t1d life, I quickly came to the realisation that t1d is a complex creature. It was about 3 weeks after diagnosis before I had my 1st hypo, shortly after leaving hospital. Then it got more and more complex.
I’ve tended in the past to think of ‘doing it by myself’ as a good goal. Maybe it is for some things.
But when it comes to t1d, solo really doesn’t get the best outcome for me.
I’ve Had Help From Different Species…
…But They Can’t be There all the Time
My goal is to become an expert at “living well with t1d”. Then I’ll have a useful expert with me all the time. It may take some time to get there.
I listen to a variety of experts – people who’ve studied what works. I FIRST get others’ knowledge.
SECOND I take action for myself. That gives me knowledge of what works (or not) for me.
