Even for people who know a lot about maths, it’s not always easy to spot a pattern. I’m sure there are plenty of people with a PHd who miss obvious things that happen every day.
Even with a state-of-the-art 1986 IBM computer, a pattern may not be found (if there is one to begin with).
When I look at a sheet of complicated data I just go blech and want to throw that PC out the window.
K.I.S.S. (Keeping it Simple Succeeds)
I simplify my data a lot, so that it’s easy to look at.
My BGLs are either High, Normal, or Low. I like to get an idea of where my BGLs are getting out of whack.
Felts mark my highs and lows.
A 1-page summary is good for comparing weeks.
